1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly:

  • Account data: Email address, name (via sign-up or Google OAuth)
  • Conversations: Messages you send and receive (stored per your account)
  • API keys: Third-party API keys you optionally provide (encrypted at rest)
  • Usage data: Message count, model usage, timestamps
  • Billing data: Handled entirely by Stripe — we never see your card details

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve the Service
  • To route your messages to your chosen AI model
  • To enforce usage limits and billing
  • To send transactional emails (account, billing)
  • To detect and prevent abuse

We do not sell your data. We do not train AI models on your conversations.

3. Third-Party Services

Your messages are routed to third-party AI providers (OpenRouter, Novita, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google). Each provider has their own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing their terms before using the Service.

We use Supabase for authentication and database, Stripe for payments, and Vercel for hosting.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security enabled. API keys are encrypted before storage. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser localStorage to store your conversation history and preferences locally on your device. Authentication sessions use HTTP-only cookies managed by Supabase.

6. Your Rights

You may:

  • Export your data at any time from Settings → Data & Privacy
  • Delete all your data from Settings → Data & Privacy
  • Request account deletion by emailing hello@z0.chat

7. Data Retention

Conversation data is retained as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your data is removed within 30 days. Billing records are retained as required by law.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a notice on the Service.
